How do I move PITTO to a new Mac?

Moving to a new Mac? Email support@pitto.music before you set it up and we'll help you bring your catalog along.

1. Before you start, open PITTO on your old Mac and go to Settings → Licence & plan → Release this Mac. If the old Mac is gone, sign in at pitto.music/account and click Release next to that Mac.
2. Open PITTO on the new Mac and activate it with your key.

Tip for PITTO Pro: you can also add the new Mac as your second Mac and choose Move my library online (see Can I use PITTO on two Macs?). Then release the old Mac. Your library stays online, so making changes needs an internet connection.

If PITTO says "this key is in use on another one" (Free) or "already in use on two Macs" (Pro), release a Mac first as above.
