What is My roster, and why should I fill it in?

My roster is your list of the writers and artists you work with most. PITTO puts the writers on your roster at the top whenever you filter songs by writer, in Catalog and when you pick songs for a pitch. With many writers in your library, that saves a lot of scrolling.

To fill it in, go to Settings → My roster:

  1. Under Writers or Artists, search for a name and click Add.
  2. An artist not in PITTO yet? Click Search Spotify for “name” and click Add next to the right one: PITTO brings in their Spotify link and photo. Not on Spotify? Click Add “name” by name. Search Spotify shows once your Spotify key is added (see How do I connect Spotify?).
  3. A writer not in PITTO yet? Click Add “name” as writer.
  4. PITTO then asks whether a writer also releases music as an artist, or whether an artist also writes songs. Link them and click Done, or click Skip.

The setup's roster step works the same way, without step 4: link writers and artists later in Settings → My roster.

Click Remove to take someone off your roster. They stay in PITTO; only the roster changes.

Your roster belongs to your library. On PITTO Pro with two Macs, both Macs share the same roster.
